This is a perfect example of what bugs me about the current CGC grading system.

Even if this book did not have a spot of colour touch, it would still grade out to only a 0.5 blue label which as we can all clearly see is totally and visibily different from your usual POS 0.5 book.

In this situation, would a qualified Green label at 8.0 or above for the exact same book carry more valuation in the marketplace as opposed to a 0.5 blue label?

I know that you are supposed to buy the book and not the label, but the marketplace as currently structured is still heavily influenced by the colour of the label.

I would love an FF 4 just like that...Page missing not affecting story would.not bug me for the discount it would get!

If this is the Larson copy, I guess it must have been at the bottom of the pile in the barn, based upon its visual condition.

Better alert sacentaur since he is always trying to chase down all of the Larson books. lol

Who would give the cap 3 that grade.

Like I had already stated in an earlier post.......there are beautiful looking HG 0.5's (like this Cap 3 and the earlier FF 4) and then there are the true POS looking 0.5's. :screwy:

It's like the difference between night and day and CGC really should adjust their grading system to take this into account. hm
