Hello... Picked this guy up today... Was wondering your opinions on grade...

Because this book is very hard to grade by the scans I took some pictures of the major damage I had found. The Hi Res links do not have the red square in them...

This looks to me to be tape pull

This upper right back corner is where most of the major damage is. I am hoping a press will smooth it out...

My Grade Guess:

9.0 Seems like you called out the problems in the close-up photos. I could only see the BC creasing in the scan. The issue around the staple and apparent tape pull aren't changing even with a press, but I'll stick with 9.0 as it is now.

8.5 IMHO! That's as the book sits now. To be honest I can not give you an answer on the pressing as this is a card stock cover but Joey Post surely can! Nice looking copy regardless of the minor flaws.

I'm such a Venom fan!
