I love how the subtitle for this one says "get these before the movie" and then the description says "IF they ever make a movie." You know, one of the bigger dealers once told me that most comic sellers were more deceptive than sideshow barkers...case in point!

Well anything's possible. Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura secured the film rights from Hasbro to make a live-action feature. He did Constantine, and is making Doom (the videogame). Of course, optioning movie rights is common for any successful property, and I'm sure loads of comic and toy properties have been optioned in the past few years with a snowball's chance of actually becoming movies.

actually, the movie has started casting and the screenplay is done. They are set to start filming (supposing the cast is finalized) may 2005. Not that I am condoning his actions, because I doubt that he did anything except play on the hype of comic movies.
