3.5. That spine length crease alone knocks an otherwise NM copy to a 5.5. There's enough there to penalize an additional 3-4 grades.

At the lower grade replacement staples should have no effect and the book would still garner a blue label.

You can replace the staples in high grade too as long as its from the same publisher and the same year (roughly). If I'm wrong please set me straight, but I believe this is accurate.
