Children of the 60s, rejoice, your beloved Birdman is coming to live action. With all the Marvel movie hype, looks like this one is sneaking in under the radar. It doesn't seem to be the adventures of the cartoon character, but it uses it as a vector for something else.

 

It's got a lot of A-listers on the cast: Michael Keaton, Emma Stone, Ed Norton, Naomi Watts, and Zach Galifianakis.

Reading the plot for this movie doesn't really give much info.

I'm not exactly sure what's going on here.

 

A washed-up actor who once played an iconic superhero must overcome his ego and family trouble as he mounts a Broadway play in a bid to reclaim his past glory.
