Archie's Girls Betty and Veronica 320

I bought this book from a big online comic shop. They had it listed as a 2.5

They couldn't provide me with much info but the pics they had seemed much better so I took a chance. There are no missing pages, no writing, no cut-outs, it lays flat and has nice OW interior pages. Based on these two scans, I'm asking -

1.What do you think the grade is?

2. What might make this book only a 2.5?

The book is undergraded so you wont complain. Some sellers want happy customers.

It has some nice eye appeal, but do you think it may be trimmed? That right edge looks a little sketchy.

Errrrrrr.....I thought that at first too. I'm not sure it's the scan that's cropped. I think it's the comic. My only question is........why?

Yeah that's just from the scan. I don't have a great scanner and I had trouble positioning the book to get all 4 edges. It looks crooked because the top edge got cropped out a little but it's not. And the right edge also. I'm pretty sure it's not trimmed.

Tell the scanner to scan the entire scanner bed, then crop to correct size. Why so small?

I don't know why but I can't get the scans to show up larger. The files are huge but no matter what I try they only display this size. I used the black background so you can see the edges better but that's all I can do.

MCS is always conservative with their grades. I got a Walking Dead # 1 they graded at 7.0 that came back a 9.2 with a press FWIW.
