Earliest Western Penn I've Seen to Date

6 posts in this topic

This is a book from 1953 so technically not a SA book, but since most of the discussion of the Western Penn pedigree has taken place in this forum and it's generally considered to be a SA pedigree, thought I'd flag this book, which is the earliest Western Penn book I've ever seen . The depth, breadth and quality of this collection truly was amazing!

Any idea what year(s) the latest Western Penns are from? Did the son stop collecting when the first books began to be sold in the late 70s or did he keep going even as the collection was being sold?
