Philadelphia Comic Book Convention

Location: Clarion Hotel Conference Center (formerly Ramada Philadelphia Airport), 76 Industrial Highway, Essington, PA 19029

Parking: Free on-site

Directions

The Philadelphia Comic Book Convention is located near the Philadelphia Airport at the Clarion Hotel Conference Center (formerly the Ramada Philadelphia Airport), 76 Industrial Highway, Essington, PA 19029.

 

From Southbound I-95 - Take I-95 S to Exit 9A (Essington). Merge onto 420 S (Wanamaker Ave). Turn RIGHT onto Industrial Highway. The Clarion Hotel is on the LEFT side.

 

From Northbound I-95 - Take I-95 N to Exit 8 (Ridley Park). Stay to the RIGHT and merge onto S. Stewart Ave. Turn LEFT onto Industrial Highway. The Clarion Hotel is on the RIGHT side.

I think your talking about basement comics. Al stoltz is a great dealer with a deep inventory. He stocks everything from rare gold to copper plus he always has some cool items you don't see often. Last year in Baltimore he had a copy of eerie 1. I'm still kicking myself for not grabbing it. I hope he is in philly this weekend as well.

decent show today, still not as many bargain books as I'd like, but there were a few and I picked up some decent stuff. Also picked up The Strain #1 at an excellent price, since I didn't need a perfect copy. Much cheaper than I could have gotten one for on eBay.

Show was good today,

 

Only picked up 3 books though, I had a pocket full of cash and ready to spend but it seemed there was no keys or mega keys avaliable today. Talked to a dealer and he said that during the summer the stock of books were depleted, hoping November 16th there are a little bit of a pretty selection available
