Batman Adventures 12 - In between grades - need help

14 posts in this topic

I've been looking at Silver-Age books way to long so I'm having a tough time getting a gauge on this CA gem. What's your grade?

It a news stand copy, that's a plus

Yea - I'm stoked about picking it up. After pretty much finishing last in the recent grading contest I need some refresher in grading. This is a great place to get some outside help.

Is there a tear at the top of the spine?

I don't have it in hand but it looks more like wear to me than a tear.

It does look like there's a spine split at the top, making the grade tougher to finetune. Without the split I'd guess 7.0/7.5... with it, have to say more like 6.0/6.5. Probably a 6.5 by current CGC standards.

My initial thought was a slam dunk 7.0 with an outside change at a 7.5 so it looks like I was in the right ball park. Thanks guys.
