It would be great if you could tell me how you would grade this one

I dont know where these smudges on the backcover come from. I can't see them neither on the cover nor on the scanner glas.

 

My personal suggestion:

 

 

hope for a 7.0

Dark covers tend to get more lenient treatment I think. (By which I mean, if this was a light-colored book, the flaws wouldn't be so obvious.) I have an 8.5 FF 49 that doesn't look that good. I was seriously leaning toward 9.0.

 

edit: Sorry, I didn't see that crease across the lower right corner... not sure how badly that affects it... It's not a bad crease, but still I think that takes it down a bit. I'd lean towards 8.0 now.

I just rechecked the book and you were right, there is a small crease on the lower right corner.

Wow, I was leaning towards 7.5 cause of the pretty good hit on that lower spine side corner, plus the rubbing FC.
