The chains breaking around wolvie are pinkish/white on that copy, and dark gray on other copies.

I asked about these books earlier in this thread and someone said they wouldn't be verified because there are doubts as to whether or not that jack kirby sig is real; even if it is certified as real, no one knows who wrote 968/2000 on the cover so it should still get a grade hit for having writing on the cover. -

well here's what their website says: What if my autograph was previously witnessed by JSA? If your autograph was witnessed by CGC or JSA (as part of the JSA Witness Protection Program (WPP)), your comic will receive the CGC Signature Series label, unless your comic also has an unwitnessed autograph. If your comic has both witnessed and unwitnessed autographs — and they are all genuine — your comic will receive the CGC x JSA Authentic Autograph label. I definitely would not want that stripe on my existing yellow label books. -

What label does a book get if it already has a yellow label, but you send it in to get an interior signature JSA'd? I wouldn't want that stripe because it would make it look like it ONLY has JSA'd signatures. Maybe give it the yellow stripe at the top (like it already has) but add that additional text about JSA in the stripe. Or, just make the JSA'd signature a label note. But I definitely wouldn't want that black stripe on a book with witnessed signatures. -

How on earth are they going to be able to verify those? -

Another reason why they shouldn't be using the same label color for verified sigs and witnessed sigs. -

if a book has both a witnessed and "verified" sig, then I'm fine with a yellow label. If it's only a verified sig, I think blue with a color stripe (maybe orange?). But they may have to start doing multiple stripes... what if it has a witnessed sig, a verified sig, but also needs to be green (say for a missing page) and has conservation, and comes from a gold-label-worthy pedigree? That would be, like, 50 stripes. -

Yes that's what I was wondering. I had heard there were questions raised as to whether or not those were really Jack Kirby's signatures. -

I REALLY hope they don't give these books yellow labels. Yellow labels are supposed to mean something special, not just, "someone wrote a name on the cover and someone else who gets paid to say it's real thinks maybe it's close enough to looking real." -

I wonder if they'll be authenticating dynamic forces books (like the Jack Kirby ones). -

Why can't we search for golden age anymore on Ebay?
cousin itt replied to Bo_Hogg1's topic in Golden Age Comic Books
It's not working for me... I just came here to post this question. Glad I'm not the only one having this problem. I have a bunch of saved searches and well now they are pretty useless. -

it looks like it isn't a "c", but a swoop on the end of the line that goes up to the right.
