Ask and ye shall receive!

 

For years I have owned an Amazing Spider-man #151 raw copy and never thought about getting it graded because it wasn't in the best shape, more like a 5.5 - 6.0. That's not an acceptable grade for my standards of collecting ASM's.

 

 

 

I would search the web for decent grades of this book and couldn't find this book in 9.8 anywhere! Yes I know there are only 10 in CGC 9.8.

 

It's a tough book to find in high grade due to the dark cover.

 

 

 

I finally found one and paid a pretty penny for it just recently at an online auction and considering the financial setback it was a great buy in my opinion.

 

I basically tapped into my NYCC fund that I set aside during the year but this was a rare find and couldn't pass it up! An ASM #151 CGC 9.8 with OW/W pages is great for me. I'm not concerned about page quality but rather the grade is more important to me, after all you can't see the inner pages once the comic is encapsulated right?
