I've been putting off this painful moment for a while now, but knew it was likely coming...

 

 

I'm all in on GA Superman for the time being.

 

So, here's a big one...

 

DETECTIVE COMICS #40 (*1st Joker Cover; 1st Clayface ) CGC UNIVERSAL 1.5

 

*Debated by some, but I don't see how it isn't the Joker.

 

CGC NOTES: Spine of cover completely split and reattached with tape. Cover reattached with tape.

 

PRICE: $1565 shipped anywhere in the USA. (USA sales only on this one)

 

I've priced this copy pretty aggressively for a few reasons: 1) Despite the issues that drag it down to a 1.5, it still has great eye appeal 2) Demand heavily outweighs its availability 3) I know I'll likely never own another copy of it

 

After 'Tec #27-38 and Batman #1, this is arguably THE Batman book.

 

So let's see what happens. Hopefully it can find a home in a Joker lover's permanent collection! (thumbs u
