$1000 windfall; what one book (and grade) would you buy now?

I would try to scoop up Avengers 57 in hopefully 9.0 (or maybe even 9.2) shape. The Vision is my favorite Marvel character, and it doesn't hurt that the book is gathering steam.

What hot, cool and collectible would you buy now if you had $1000. 1 book only?

I know you want just one $1000 comic,but your probably better off buying multiple raw comic books for that $1000 that haven`t popped yet because of movie hype.

If you buy multiple raw comics they have a much better chance of making quick profits with a movie announcement, then hoping your $1000 comic book gets a bump to $1200. It`s better to diversify then put all your eggs in one basket.

With Hulk #181 there have been plenty of times where board members have come on here and talked of losing money when they go to sell it.

Myself, I would pick Marvel semi-key and key first appearances from the bronze and copper ages that haven`t had the big movie announcement yet.

Yes, there is gold in that bronze and copper!

You know a book you never seem to see in high grade? Strange Tales 115. Origin of Doctor Strange and 2nd Sandman. Would think a high grade version of that book would be very nice to be sitting on right now.

27 9.2 or better Blue label 115's. 84 9.2 or better on the 134 but only 16 9.6/9.8. That's tough for a BA book.
