That Conan #1 looks like the staples were a manufacturing error,they look to be the correct staples for the book.

Thanks man. I honestly thought that, as they look clean and similar.

 

From what I have heard, at the end of production runs unused covers and stapled interiors that went through incorrectly were often married together. I have had several books with one set of exterior staples, but two sets of interior staples. It doesn't hurt the grade.
