Wasn't Spider-Man's identity being public a big part of Civil War?

Maybe Marvel is just revisiting the storyline, but it is all a flashback (sort of a lost story concept)? I remember them doing that a few years back with another mini-event. hm That way, they can tie Silk and other recent Spider-Man revelations into it.

I'm curious if Civil War is the next storyline when will they fit in Infinity Gauntlet and Thanos?

one of the rumors that have been going around was that thanos wouldnt be in Avengers 3 but that another movie after that would be the culmination. I forget the thread where it was being talked about.

The implication was that the movie might actually be called, The Infinity Gauntlet, as opposed to Avengers 4, etc.

Civil War lets them develop two teams of Avengers and have a place and reason for all the characters, so it definitely works, and pushing thanos back a movie gives them more time to draw everything together.

Also, Batfleck vs Superman was already on shakey ground, if Downey is in Cap 3, I dont see how DC can keep their release date, they'll get destroyed.

Civil War coming is the perfect way to get Downey into the film, AND he's exactly what they need to not have to move Cap 3 or lose the box office head to head.

Which is why they were probably able to work out a contract, where he still makes a ton, because its protecting/saving that slot, and moving everything else forward. It becomes an easy investment for them to justify and move ahead with.

Looks like Robert Downey is joining Cap 3. Also some buzz that Sony will partner with Marvel to bring Spider-Man over for the event. My oh my...

depends where you buy them, certainly isnt something I would overpay for. What was cover price on them anyway, $4?

An extra buck for an almost 10 year old book in NM is nothing to phone home about.

Civil War was/is my favourite Marvel "Event". I wanted to buy the Sketch variants when they were new, but the prices were way to high at the time. As they have started to telegraph Civil War as coming, I made sure I got my CGC 9.8 sketch collection together before the official word came and sure am glad I did. They've been dirt cheap for quite a few years now, and I didnt want to miss the chance. I have no doubt given how mainstream the news of this is, that the speculator eye of sauron will turn to it soon.

Last March I was looking into it a bit on the early rumors, and remember watching a 10.0 SS of the book you posted sell for over $1K. Crazy at the time, but I knew the guy who bought it was doing the spec play.

I'd love to know what a 10.0 SS of the sketch cover would go for lol.
