i always thought those first two covers were kinda goofy looking. kirby art but looking a bit like Ditko.......

 

BUT, only one of three 10CENT marvel superhero books ever printed in the Silver Age........... cloud9.gif

I think that the imprint of Ditko's lettering in the title (See Amazing Adult Fantasy logoz) causes this impression . . . and boy, the Thing sure was ugly at this point - certainly not the ever-lovin' thing of later issues! thumbsup2.gif

I agree with SS's comments that it looks very nice for a 3.5.
