I just finished reading #1, and while I really enjoyed the book, I was not expecting that much blood and gore! I understand being an assassin is messy and violent, but I think this is the first time it's been on display in such quality and quantity in a Deathstroke book. I think it adds to the grittiness and brutality of Slade.

 

Just a little surprised is all :fear:

I bought it and enjoyed the first issue and artwork. i was anticipating this series so much that i even went and spent an extra couple bucks on the variant cover from my LCS.

 

i'm looking forward to the future issues of this series as well.
