I wouldn't think announcing Cumberbatch as Dr. Strange alone would be significant enough for its own special event (Rudd as Ant-Man was just a press release?). Then again Disney owns the theater so perhaps it's not much of a marketing expense for them.

But they haven't even "officially" announced the Dr. Strange movie yet have they? An official announcement and introducing Cumberbatch as Dr. Strange would be a worthy even…throw in the official announcement of the Black Panther move and people will go nuts...
