I have owned about three of these issues, this will be my fourth...The blue line on the back is something from the printing, maybe of the ad itself. My current 9.6 has the exact same line.

the back cover is that rub from another book or dirt, if it's dirt I'd get it cleaned gives you a better shot at that 9.6
