I think this is probably the best answer to this thread, and I'd agree with it.

 

You could look at a lot of the new "classic" runs within series as well, issues that were well received from the beginning and stayed valuable since. But none of that stuff really approaches BA12 level of price.

 

Saga is probably the current best example of a book that is universally well thought of, and retains a high value with no tv/movie rumors. But, I think a lot of people assume it eventually will, so maybe that doesnt count.

 

 

Yes but Batman Adventures was based upon a TV show so I do not think it qualifies.
