Now on a more serious answer, in looking the figure over I would have assumed the red 'M' would be Michigan State due to the shape of the M. But it uses yellow - not red.

 

 

But then I realized Ole Miss uses the same shape with its 'M' while using red as the main color.

 

 

So I am leaning towards this being a sports doll sold at a match.

The eyes aren't connected in any of the pictures in the google search results, so I'm going to guess just a resemblance.
