It's never been bagged!

 

 

This shot shows the most significant flaws, a corner bump bottom left front cover and the crease on the bottom right cover is almost non-color breaking, but I looked at it carefully and I could see there's a very faint trace of the bend in the inks

That's what I'm thinking. This may be a case where it's better to have to pressed then leave it as it is.

The wear seems to be mostly on the spine, I imagine from it sticking out of the pile it was in.

I'd go 6.0ish. The gloss on that one is amazing!

My grade may seem harsh. I can see it going 5.0 or 5.5 on a nice sunny day in Sarasota. I have a copy I'm still trying to upgrade.

It is so much more amazing in hand. This book was not read much.

Looks at least 6.5 to me. Maybe I'm feeling generous in the season.

Here's a scan of it (versus a photo) which throws a different light on things.

 

 

Note there's a printing flaw that looks like a line on the right hand side of the front cover and runs across the book. You can see the density or tone of the ink changes below this line. There also appears to be a small blemish in the black field 1" down and to the right of Louise's eye.
