The LOS ANGELES COMIC BOOK AND SCIENCE FICTION CONVENTION presents LEE MERIWETHER, (CATWOMAN in the 1966 BATMAN Movie), Stars of the Classic STAR TREK TV series and PEE-WEE'S PLAYHOUSE among the Special Guests appearing at the SUNDAY, JANUARY 11, 2015 show.

 

LEE MERIWETHER starred as CATWOMAN in the 1966 BATMAN MOVIE and as Lisa Carson in the BATMAN TV series episode KING TUT'S COUP. Lee also starred as LOSIRA in the STAR TREK episode THAT WHICH SURVIVES. Lee's credits include starring as Ann MacGregor in Irwin Allen's Time Tunnel, as Lily Munster in The Munsters Today, as Betty Jones in Barnaby Jones. Lee's recent credits include the new Hawaii Five-O, All My Children and Wizards of Waverly Place.

 

MEET STARS FROM THE CLASSIC STAR TREK TV SERIES:

KIM DARBY starred as MIRI in the STAR TREK episode MIRI. Kim's Film roles include starring as Mattie Ross in the Movie True Grit (with John Wayne), Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers and the Classic TV Horror Film Don't Be Afraid of the Dark.

 

MICHAEL DANTE starred as MAAB in the STAR TREK episode FRIDAY'S CHILD. Michael's Film credits include Willard, Beyond Evil, The Naked Kiss and Winterhawk. Michael will have his new book, Michael Dante: From Hollywood to Michael Dante Way which covers his life and film career for sale at the show.

 

MORGAN WOODWARD starred as CAPTAIN RONALD TRACEY in the STAR TREK episode OMEGA GLORY and as DR. SIMON VAN GELDER in DAGGER OF THE MIND. Dagger of the Mind is the first Star Trek episode where the Vulcan Mind Meld is used on Morgan's character Dr. Simon Van Gelder. Morgan's other TV credits include Dallas, The Incredible Hulk, Knight Rider, Planet of the Apes, Millennium and X-Files. Morgan starred as Boss Godfrey in the classic Movie Cool Hand Luke.

 

FRANCE NUYEN starred as ELAAN in the STAR TREK episode ELAAN OF TROYIUS. France starred in the Movie Battle for the Planet of the Apes and TV credits include The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Six Million Dollar Man, Hawaii Five-O, Kung Fu, and I Spy.

 

VICTOR BRANDT starred as CREWMAN WATSON in the STAR TREK episode ELAAN OF TROYIUS and as TONGO RAD in THE WAY TO EDEN. Victor is also a voice actor and is currently starring as various characters such as General Crozier and Cardinal Ravenwood in the Adult Swim Animated series Metalocalypse. Other voice actor credits include Avatar: The Last Airbender (Master Pakku), The Batman (Rupert Thorne), Superman (1996 series as Professor Hamilton), Spawn (Chief Banks).

 

BARBARA LUNA starred as LT. MARLENA MOREAU in the STAR TREK episode MIRROR, MIRROR. Barbara's other credits include Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, The Outer Limits, Hawaii Five-O, Charlie's Angels, Zorro, The Invaders, Mission: Impossible, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., and The Wild, Wild West

 

CELESTE YARNALL starred as YEOMAN MARTHA LANDON in the STAR TREK episode THE APPLE. Celeste's Film roles include The Velvet Vampire; Live a Little, Love a Little (with Elvis Presley); Beast of Blood and Eve.

 

THESE ARE THE VOYAGES-TOS is a three volume series on the filming of the Original STAR TREK TV series full of Behind the Scenes information and photos. Each volume covers a season of Star Trek. These are the Voyages-TOS Volume Three makes it's debut at the Convention and all three hardcover volumes will be available for purchase and signed by author Marc Cushman at the Convention.

 

MEET STARS FROM PEE-WEE'S PLAYHOUSE:

LYNNE MARIE STEWART starred as MISS YVONNE and JOHN PARAGON starred as JAMBI THE GENIE and the Voice of PTERRI THE PTERODACTYL on PEE-WEE'S PLAYHOUSE, the popular CBS-TV children's show which was recently released on Blu-ray. Lynne's credits include MASH, Laverne and Shirley, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Pee-Wee's Big Adventure and Big Top Pee-Wee. John's credits include Seinfeld, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine as well as writer of many of the regular episodes of Pee-Wee's Playhouse.

BERNARD CHANG is the current artist for DC COMICS GREEN LANTERN CORPS. Bernard has also illustrated DC Comics titles such as Wonder Woman, Superman, Supergirl and Demon Knights. Bernard's art for Marvel Comics includes X-Men, The New Mutants, Cable and Deadpool.

 

RICARDO DELGADO is the Writer and Artist of DARK HORSE COMICS THE AGE OF REPTILES. Ricardo's recent art is featured in Dark Horse Presents#3. Ricardo also works in Animation and credits include How to Train Your Dragon, The Real Ghostbusters, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Green Lantern: The Animated Series, X-Men: Origins: Wolverine, and The Incredibles. Ricardo is currently working on the new animated series Penn Zero: Part Time Hero for Disney xD.
