Query: Silver Age coloring

I'm looking for detailed technical information on the whole process of coloring comics old-school. Color guide codes (e.g. YB2), palette (16/32), color separation process, who did that, what they used for blackout, how the half-tones/BenDay patterns were implemented, how the plates were made, order of plates, everything!

 

Any leads appreciated!
