what is the highest grade for a comic with a missing mvs?

Not worth getting the book graded in my opinion.

If the plan is to keep the book then keep it raw in a mylar.

If the plan is to sell it: at the grade the book is you will get the same price whether it be in a blue label 1.0 slab or as a raw book.

Grading to me in this case is not a wise choice.

+1

The good thing is it's a key and there are always bottom-feeders that are willing to buy a low grade copy just to have one. The bad thing is that those same bottom-feeders don't want to pay much for it.

I wouldn't throw good money after bad. No point in slabbing it and sinking more money into it.

All this...plus it wasn't a wise decision to buy the lot.

If you break even, I'd consider you lucky. Relatively cheap lesson to learn.

Here's some food for thought:

1) Don't buy a Hulk 181 w/the MVS missing and,

2) probably not a good idea to buy a burned paper product.

I asked cgc about it and they said that they can't give out grades but they said since it looks nice except for the burn it might grade higher for the hulk 180 and 182 but I'll sell them raw
