Comic dollars up 7% in December 2004

Comic dollar sales were up 7% in 2004 vs. the numbers in December 2003, with a 5% increase in comic periodicals and a 29% increase in graphic novel sales. This follows a 2% increase in November and a 16% decline in October.

 

Over-all, sales were still down in Q4 vs. 2003, booking a 3% decline year over year. Comic sales were down 4% and graphic novel sales up 2% for the quarter.
