How does everyone think having a con at a casino will effect attendance/who attends?

I could see it going either way being a con with a lot of buyers or just a circus.

Can any vendors from last years's CT Comic Con post up a verified attendance figure at last year's show?

Last year's show was in Bridgeport, so its not apples to apples.

 

I was at Mohegan a few weeks ago and the place is extremely kid friendly. On Saturday Morning most of the parking lots were packed and kids were flooding the area for some event in the arena. There are also a ton of shops and a kid play/gaming area.

 

I believe this show will be a big success.

I think they've grown in attendance each year. Having it at Mohegan Sun should only add to that growth.

Mohegan Sun is seriously one of my favorite places to vacation. There is a decent sized Navy base down the street full of nuclear trained personnel (aka nerds with money).
