Heh - I hope he's not serious, is really what I am saying.

 

A "prototype" that really isn't & an ad don't count. I will even go further and say that, while 181 is the first full story & cover appearance, 180 is the 1st full appearance of Wolverine. He is shown in full, as he isn't a face- or arm-only, but a full body-shot in costume; he is named; and he interacts with the characters in the book.

I can already see the ASM 299 or 300 battles in 10 years as his book gets older and more expensive. (For full disclosure I consider 299 venoms first app and 180 wolverines )
