Sparkler #40

First post. I have a Sparkler #40 issue, not yet graded, I see by the census on CGC's board that only one other has ever been graded in CGC's history. Issue is in Very Fine shape. Was wondering if it is worth getting graded? Have no idea on how much it would go for ( no Overstreet book and not one for sale right now on Ebay.) Any help or ideas, would be appreciated thanks.

Welcome. Overstreet guide for that book starts at 21 in good, 210 in NM. Vf is at 118. Nothing special is noted regarding that issue.

Right, since it only books at about $120, probably not getting worth getting graded with the intent of resale, as grading will eat into $30 of your profits, plus shipping costs. Best to try to sell it raw.

ok thanks guys for the replies. Is there anywhere on the net besides Ebay where you can look up prices slabbed or unslabbed? I know that the new Overstreet is supposed to be out in April? Again thanks for the info.
