Here's two Universals to compare. I don't think its trimmed. Have to pick my kid up from school. I'll grade it when I'm back home. I wouldn't sweat it.

chuck, why do you suspect trimming? it looks fine to me. The wear on all the edges seems uniform for this book. I don't see anything that raises a red flag.

It was a first impression based upon part of the comics code and the somewhat jagged parts of the edge

Where do you suspect trimming: funky miscuts of any kind, be them slight or drastic, were the norm in this period. Your copy definitely looks it has all the sides OK, the Code box is commonly cut out. (thumbs u

Ah, for the grade I won’t go above FN+, because of the bottom left corner and spine creasing, but otherwise it is a great copy. (thumbs u

Chuck, I get where you're coming from, I think. The fan on the pages isn't very deep, but it's there, and any roughness of the cut should be attributed to the production process.
