Most bids on eBay for Golden Age (2/8)

4 posts in this topic

The Detective 42 from last week ended at $1836 with 51 bids from 19 bidders.

At the moment...and I mean at the moment, because it ends in 20 minutes...is a really cool book called Sparkman. Never heard of it, myself...but it's definitely different!

It's getting 14 bids from 48 bidders.

Right behind that though, with 36 bids and 16 bidders is a Superman 27 in CGC 5.5. Nice looking book!

9 hours left on that one.

There is a little incremental bidding in each sale...but not too much.

Cheers...and let me know what you think about these posts. I am always looking at this stuff anyway...figured I would share what I am seeing.

If you're the one selling these books, let me know if you have other Detectives for sale.

I won the 42.

Those weren't my books Peter...I just like tracking books that are getting a lot of attention.

On another note...I see you are in Paris. I used to live there. That Album store on St. Germain was my island as far as American comics were concerned. Are there any other dealers in town for American stuff...I still visit fairly frequently.

As far as French and Belgian comics...my goto store was Rackham. And there is another great store over in the Passages in the 9th that is awesome...I don't remember the name though.

Abientot!
