I have taken all defects into consideration in coming up with a price. I can't list every little thing but will give what I feel are the most damaging defects that impact grade and price. You decide if what I state as a defect is restoration or not and evaluate if price is right for you.

 

AMAZING SPIDER MAN #43 Bottom right of front cover not missing...just top layer of color. No spine splits...great color. No tears...and appears unrestored. Back cover has 1/2" at bottom edge and a few other very minor tears and minor stain. Paper real nice OW tight, clean staples. $75

 

SUPERMAN 102 Love this Wayne Boring cover! Great shape except neat CF crease along with a parallel partial crease . Bold colors. No splits or tears. Nice back cover OW/WP with tight, clean staples. $75

 

ADVENTURE 177 mouse chew at tops which affects top margin of the first 12 pages.

Bottom staple pulled through. Also a small worm hole top CF for about 1/4" which goes thorough most of book (does not look bad) Back cover missing small/med. piece bottom left. Pages are OW/WP tight, clean CF staples. $40.

 

ADVENTURE 87 NICE colors. Not much surface wear but has small piece missing at spine along with a few other tinier holes. Single staple has pulled through front cover but hanging on from back cover. Minor stain at bottom of FC. Back cover nice with top corner fold and minor tear. CF staple is clean and tight. CM/OWP $155.

 

ACTION 120 BOLD COLORS. Unfortunately staples became detached. 1/2 split at bottom of spine. Back cover as some tears and thin fold at bottom half of left edge.

CF is tight with clean staples. Pages CM/OW. $135.

 

 

 

SUPERMAN #24 NICE APPEARANCE Flag cover. Figure of Sup is outlined heavily in pencil. Top staple original and new staple at bottom. Rough spine with 1/2 split at top and more than an inch at bottom which is a wise split. Also small split/hole at middle and other tears. Back cover has continued small pieces missing at right edge with tears and some writing within coupon. Pages are close to white but page 12 is almost out and heavily frayed at edges. There is a small piece out at top that does very slightly affects one word of text on page 11 the word "be". Key issue at steal of a price...$250. SOLD!

 

 

 

ADVENTURE 230 VERY NICE. Light wear. Press could help. Bold colors. No tears or note, tight staples, no splits, nice back cover, tight CF, clean staples and Near White pages! $100.

 

CAPTAIN BATTLE JR. #1 RE-STAPLED. (one staple book) Some foxing at top and right edge...1/2 tear at staple, also a few pages are affected. No spine splitting. CF has some heaving foxing at top and right edge of one side of page and also some fraying on 2nd side of page. Paper OW overall. $150.

 

SUPERMAN 100 Piece missing bottom left corner. Archival tape entire length of spine. 1" tear top left corner with old tape inside. Back cover missing piece bottom right corner. Re-stapled. OW pages. What do you want for $50 SOLD

 

BATMAN #79 NICE colors. Bottom right corner creases. A few indent dots mostly on Vicki. A few scuffs near top edge. Nice spine, no splits. Nice back cover. Tight CF with nice clean staples...OWP. $120.

 

ACTION #194 SLIGHT light CF crease. Other light creasing. 1/2" spine split at bottom. No folds or tears of note. Back cover nice with some light creasing. Nice tight CF with clean staples and OWP. $100.

 

CRIME SUSPENSTORIES #24 Bold colors. Still quite glossy. No folds, splits, creases or tears but does have a very, very small chip at right edge about 1 1/2" from bottom edge. Very light letter L in -script at top left corner. Back cover nice but does have minor chip and circular tear that does have very small piece of old tape on inside. Nice CF with nice clean, tight staples. OWP. $110. SOLD AS PER PM

 

DEADWOOD LIBRARY VOL. 2 #18 5.5 CGC LT/OWP very few graded...list date as 1899 although these were reprinted up until 1934. Still a fun reasonable dime novel era item to have...and CGC'd!! ;) $55....SOLD AS PER PM

 

 

BATMAN #101 HAS some splits..worst is at bottom about 1 1/2" also has very small piece of tape at center spine edge and at top and bottom staple. Hint of water stain top right...Also a few dots of staining on cover. Back cover also has tape from front and dirty at center, otherwise solid and nice. CF nice with clean staples and OWP overall. $75.

 

FLASH COMICS 19 VERY NICE Looking but has multiple defects. No tears or folds or much in the way of creasing or wear but does have Name on cover. Also Restapled.

Spine roll but no splits. Minor tear at bottom edge of spine. Back cover similar. CF nice but does have new staples, stapled in new area. Pages OWP. $335

 

HUMAN TORCH 37 Heavy wear overall but still nice colors. About 2" of spine splitting most at bottom. Top is missing small piece on back cover which also has some penciling at bottom edge and a near 2" horizontal tear at left, near center and few other minor tears near spine. Pages nice Cm/OWP tight staples. $150.

 

JO-JO #25 Bondage cover. Nice overall. Light righter corner folds. Small piece missing at bottom left corner. Nice spine with a few minor tears at staples. Back cover somewhat dirty...with two 1/2" tear and a few other minor tears. CF nice with tight staples, a hint of rust on bottom staple. OWP. $250. SOLD AS PER PM!

 

 

MISS FURY #8 NICE LOOKING! Minor chip bottom right edge.Minor tear/chip at bottom edge...No spine splits. Back cover has small piece out at top edge. Also some small 4 worm holes (cover only) at back cover near spine edge/close to center. Bottom edge also frayed and browned. Some tanning at pages edges. CF tight. Lt Tan/Cm pages. Not brittle but slightly fragile at edges, and bottom right edge is rounded. Detached one staple cover. $75 SOLD AS PER PM...

 

MISS FURY #6 NICE! LIGHT wear but has very light CF crease which does not break color. MINOR bottom right corner fold. No spine splits. Some old tape reinforcing inside cover. Nice tight CF but does have a small piece of old tape supporting CF underneath. CM/OWP $225.

 

NATIONAL COMICS #23 WAR COVER. Dust shadow at right edge and part at bottom. Minor bottom corner creasing/folds. Spit spine to top staple. And 1/3" at bottom spine. Staples are holding. Back cover nice with some spotting and wear. CF loose but hanging on. Pages Light Cream/OW. $125.

 

NATIONAL COMICS #10 Nice colors. Bondage. Some minor staining. Large fold at top right but only partial color break. Split spine to top staple and split from bottom down. CF real nice and tight with nice staples. Paper is closer to OW now that I look closer at it...I guess 3.0 range. worst case 2.5 there is no tape. ..$80... SOLD
