Good points, but I still disagree. In the age of "reboots" this is a good pick. And this guy thinks TinTin is Speilbergs new Indiana Jones? Man, that guy needs to work on his math:

 

TinTin: $77M box office

 

Raiders $641M box office - adjusted to 2014, and that doesn't count for the re-release later on in the year or in 1983. That was it's first run. Makes TinTin look like a big steaming bowl of Alpo.

 

77M domestic. Don't forget the 300M it did overseas.

Yep, good point. Numbers-wise still about a 1/3 less than Raiders on it's worldwide run - not counting the re-release in 1982 and 1983 which garnered it another $33M ($78M adjusted) for the franchise. Throw those two on, and it's about half of Raiders. Still a respectable profit, but not something - as the article writer - I would consider that Spielberg would think is comparable to Indy.
