Skinny Bones Serigraph - is it worth repairing?

3 posts in this topic

I recently bought this. It has a tear at the bottom I was thinking about having repaired. I can only find one place that has one of these for sale. They want $900 for it. One sold on Heritage in 2005 for $149.50. I really like it but I don't know if repairing it is worth it. Anyone know more about this piece or have an opinion about repairing it? Thanks in advance.

IMHO - no.

You can probably buy another one for significantly less than $900. Keep in mind, a serigraph is just an autographed poster. It is not original art. Tape it in the back, have it matted and framed and I'm sure you will be happy with it.

Cheers!
