I just tried to log onto Bob Storms' websire.. and its missing!

Is the big upgrade due for tomorrow morning as planned?? I cant wait to check it out.... you too?

Well since it's already been revealed. The website has been up for quite a while today, I've been bidding/buying up a storm. Early on there were some real fun misprices but nothing real crazy (other than a DD 17 NM for 90 dollars). Managed to get some nice books at really good prices, and I really like the functionality of the new site. Thanks Bob

thanx for the link. I couldnt get to the new site because my bookmark took me right to the page with the gallery of covers, not the home page..and in the new site, that specific url doesnt exist anymore! I would NEVER have found it clicking that bookmark..

 

looks the same, but th enew functions make getting to the bulk of the books much easier.

Yeah, that's one of the classic stories written by FFB's reputed idol, Jim Shooter, when he was still a kid!

 

And by the way, FFB you numb nut, that wasn't Wonder Mutt, it was Chameleon Lad pretending to be a dog...

I'm glad that people have been using the new site. While I haven't changed the "pretty" stuff the underlying functionality is the biggest change to the site. All of my inventory is online, bidding on books has been added, want list processing is new and selling on HGC.

 

I am sure there will be some fixes that have to be made, there are definitely missing scans which I will be working on but the most important thing is that over 25,000 books are now online.

 

For those of you registering it is VERY important to have an email address. Can some of you please fill out more than just your name if ordering, kind of makes it difficult when you order something and no address pops up on the invoice.
