G'day Cobbers!

 

Just to let you know that I've uploaded a breath-taking image of the cover to Wonder Woman '77 featuring the incredible Lynda Carter. I believe this is a rare instance of Lynda giving her approval to DC to use her likeness. (There is a second cover which will be uploaded once the image is in the public domain).

I've also uploaded a lot of sweet pages from Nicola's final Earth 2 issues (#25 & 26) which features the climactic battle between the 2 Supermen and the conclusion of the storyline!

The WW '77 cover is lovely. But I don't think it really looks like Lynda Carter until it's coloured:

The colourist definitely did some tinkering to capture her likeness.

I thought it was pretty close but I'll be interested to see what you think of Nicola's next cover for this project

All the facial shading around the nose, eyes, cheekbones and esp chin give it that unique Carter likeness.

 

Awesome pencil OA but not recognisable as Carter until it's coloured.

I certainly think that the colourist did a great job but to my eye, the image is still very much Lynda Carter. We view the piece differently and have a different opinion which is fine *shrug*

 

As I mentioned earlier, I'll be interested to see what you think of the next cover which I'll post when the image is made publicly available. Warm regards,

In fact I jus showed it my wife close up on the face with no costume and she was....
