it's really tough to find one of these - and #55, at least for me - where the cover white is truly white.

It's a very pretty copy. Because of the back spine-side creases and what looks like a stain or two, I'm going with 7.5.

FC presents VF to me, but with stress to spine evident BC I am thinking the book is limited to around 7.0/7.5

In spite of a couple flaws, that would probably meet the standard of a VF copy. I'd say 8.0.
