Marvel Studio's and NetFlix are bringing the future wife of LUKE CAGE to cable TV in "Marvel's A.K.A. Jessica Jones",

a 13-episode series premiering later this year on NetFlix, scheduled to follow the soon-to-premiere "Daredevil" TV series.

 

The shows stars Krysten Ritter and Mike Colter, who will play JESSICA JONES and LUKE CAGE,

respectively, as well as former "Dr. Who" actor David Tennant, who will play the villainous KILGRAVE.

 

All the above has turned the heat up on the Marvel MAX series that began it all.

Created and written by Brian Michael Bendis, David Gaydos did the interior art and David Mack provided covers.

Changes are the new Marvel Studios' reboot of Sony's AMAZING SPIDER-MAN movie franchise

will see a more ethnic Spidey, namely the current "Ultimate Spider-Man" names Miles Morales.

 

His premiere came in the fourth issue of this ULTIMATE MARVEL COMICS' Limited Series,

With the exception of a "re-envisioned" Sunspot in the latest flick (an inclusion which doesn't count, in my book),

it's kinda weird that none of the original NEW MUTANTS have ever made the big-screen X-MEN films, ain't it?
