Smaller sized Cons in the Iowa area..

Any in the Iowa area or even Minnesota for buying books? A few keys I'm looking to purchase in the next few months and still new to the area so no clue what's out there.

Well, there is Wizard Des Moines for starters. There is Midwest Comic Con in November. If you don't mind the drive there is this early August show in KC. You should also consider the late August Wizard show in Chicago, as it is a tremendous show for buying books. If you can only do one show it should be Chicago.

 

There are shows in Minneapolis, but from what I've heard the Wizard show there isn't any good for comics. There is a good comic show there, but the name escapes me.

There are a couple shows in Minneapolis in May, they have a local show and Wizard show, Chicago C2e2 is April 24th 25th.

Going to Wizard World Chicago. From what I've read I'm probably going to check out the local show in Minneapolis as well. Sounds like a good time. Thanks guys!

There will be more comic dealers at the local Minneapolis show compared to the Minneapolis Wizard Show. The Chicago show C2e2 will be a much bigger show than either Minneapolis show, but not quite as big as Chicago wizard.
