Generous Grade?

5 posts in this topic

maybe the missing pieces on the cover are "mere" "manufacturing" defects caused by using paper that doesn't hold up well over the course of 60 years?

i have a lot of old books that have such manufacturing defects.

more like a 4.0 by the usual generous GA cgc standards

if that's a 6.5 i want a resubmit on some of my beat to heck books

Crazy money - It may well be Schomburg's best cover, but it has no historical importance, and for a comic that's supposed to be so damn rare - there always seems to be a copy for sale somewhere - though that's what crazy prices will do for books. I'm sure if mid-grade copies of other HTF books like Exciting #28 started selling for four to five figures - there would suddenly be alot more available.
