Stollen Book, My 1st journal Entry after 14 years With CGC

After reading a few Journal Entry's I thought I would put this out there for fellow CGC members. Back on 01/22/2014 I bought a Nice copy on eBay of INCREDIBLE HULK #141 first Doc Sampson CGC #022557001 9.2 Off-White to White Pages I got a great deal that I will never get again, I paid $165.00 .

When I received the book I put it up to display, as I like to do when I get a new CGC book. A bout to weeks later My house was broken into and the book was taken. I was lucky that it was the only CGC book they got as the others are put away. They took a short box of my unread book, a ps3 and a few other items I was able to get the PS3 and 1 other item back as I saved the PS3 box "it has the serial # on it ". I passed out flyer at megaton last year and hit the local Comic shops and check eBay every night but the book is gone. I will never get that book for that good of a price again. I just sold off the rest of my CGC hulk books and will concentrate on other Silver age CGC comics.

I have more fun Comic stories and some others, as I have collected off and on for 40 years and sold my collection in 1990 and restarted it in 2000.

If you come across my book let me know It is still in my Competitive sets list.

Thanks PaulD

That is scared. The thief knows what stuffs you own inside your place.

I learned that thieves immediately know that people have the video games by seeing the flash lights inside the houses at nights. The houses became targets.

I keep the curtains closed at nights so the potential thieves will not able to see them through the windows.

Paul,

A neighbor a few houses away was broken into late last summer. They did it during the day while he was at work. He had a security system but had gotten in the habit of not setting it. I make sure mine is set 100 % of the time If I'm not home and always when I'm asleep. He has since added cameras to his and always sets his now.
