PPSM 133...the very first sketch cover...ever?

Not really meant to be a sketch cover, but it sure does look like one.

 

Are there any other pencil and ink only covers that predate the sketch cover rage?

i wouldn't consider it a sketch cover...it's mostly a finished drawing without colour, not a sketch imho.

I don't know when the PPSSM came out, but A Distant Soil had entire sketch issues, not just covers.
