PGM: Tec #439 - are you kidding me?

Tough 100 page Squarebound.

 

I am not very familiar grading with the squarebound. BC looks superb.

 

There it goes! Two apparent defects are two chips: the bottom spine corner and upper right edge FC.

8.5, with that chip, a couple of dents on the edges, and a little fading on the spine of the cover. but! i wouldn't be surprised if i under graded it and it comes out to be a 9.0. nice book!

the book looks sharp but i'm not a professional grader, but i would like to know what you get when you send it in.

I have Batman #238 CGC 9.0 WP, raw copy of #238 & 255 and Batman #439 CGC 9.4.

 

Compared them.

 

Batman #238 CGC 9.0 and raw copy have similar chip on the bottom spine corner like the raw copy of #439.

 

Batman #439 CGC 9.4 has no chip but has slight jagged corner from the cutting because of the thick 100 page bound. Also, it has a stress mark near the same corner that broke the color.

 

The raw copy of #439 may be 9.0 - maybe 9.2.

 

Batman #255 has clean cut on both corners that may go for 9.4 or 9.6 easily.
