How does the resub service work?

 

The easiest way is to send it to Matt Nelson for a pre-screen and press and then straight to CGC for the re-grade if it passes. Saves money on postage too.

 

If you want to feel like you know for sure the book will be re-graded without any chance of knowledge of the prior grade at CGC you send it to an outside presser.

 

Although I will say that Matt Nelson is pretty spot on with his pre-screening service. It may cost a little more on the front end but it can save you much more if the book doesn't warrant a crack out.

You can also pull the grader notes. Hit or miss sometimes though with the information that is provided.

I'd pull the grader's notes as well. Perhaps there could have been some internal defect you missed? A tear on a page etc?
