MANUFACTURED W/O TOP STAPLE??

Quick ? - If a book was manufactured without a top staple, is that going to come back as Qualified or Universal?

Likely Qualified. Seems like anything production related (missing) goes green. Might want to put this in the ask cgc section though.

Are you sure on that (seen one in a blue with missing staple)?

 

I had a Qualified for missing a holofoil (manufactured), Spawn 1 with uneven ink (manufactured on ebay right now).

 

Agreed it won't be treated as a defect though.

I tried looking in ebay, but the ones they showed were green lable and they said "detached."

It was my understanding that anything that was found to be "negative" to the book such as the above would be listed as Qualified. If its something "extra" such as covers/pages etc it was Blue

Those are perfect examples but has CGC changed there grading for that? Those are old labels. I hope for blue of course

Well, maybe 98% correct . . . If a book is a 9.8, it'll get a 9.8 (even with no staples).
