What year would you be talking about for $200? I would buy 10 8.0's at that price right now. GPA 90 day average for a 8.0 is $625 and all the latest sales are above $650.

I don't think you understand, the "Real Value" is what the book is going for currently. It's what he could ask and may get or close to, asking $200 for this book would be leaving $400 on the table IMO.

But paying $600 is wasting $400 imho. This book will never be cheap, but why pay $600 for a book that will soon return to $200. He could be buying this book and asking for a grade and "value."
