Who will take all the Box Office Cash for 2015???

Avengers 2 is already taking a beating form the critics!

83% this early????

Since when is 83% a beating? ???

Every time I have seen one of these early RT critics sets it starts off strong and then curbs down about 5–20%...

I hope I am wrong and it bumps up instead of down, but at 83% with a week and half until release date it could end up at 70% or less.

Case in point the original Avengers was 100% until opening day, now it's at 92%...

How the "Ultron story" with the vision is anything less than 90% blows my mind!

:insane:

Robots aren't ever going to be most critics' bag.

Rotten Tomatoes reviews do tend to go down as time goes on, but they also usually don't have 50 reviews in this far before the release date. I wouldn't expect it to go down a lot, perhaps into the high 70s.

I haven`t read the reviews, but could they be comparing Avengers Age of Ultron to the Guardians of The Galaxy movie?

Most people I talked to say GOTG is now the benchmark for Marvel movies, while a year ago it was Avengers 1.

The people who saw Avengers Age of Ultron might still have GOTG fresh in their minds.

Also I have a strong suspicion the new Star Wars movie will be judged against GOTG.

GOTG really set some benchmarks with modern mainstream audiences.

1.The Avengers have less competition, while Star Wars has James Bond and Hunger Games to deal with.

You're severely underestimating the quality of the competition Avengers will be facing. (tsk)

For me, The Winter Soldier is the benchmark Marvel movie.

There's quite a bit of competition out there this year. I don't think Avengers will just walk away with it.

It definitely has become more of a major family outing due to the expense. We went to a double-feature drive-in theater. I just watched the money fly out of my wallet.

oh yeah this is for total cash not just for the annual take.

If that was the case Avengers would win easily because Star Wars opens

the 15th of December (16 days vs a whole summer)

(thumbs u

+1 May 1st vs. December 15th release? No question.

December 18th :gossip:

December 15th is my 40th Bday.

And SW without a doubt.
