The Title Of The Next PLANET OF THE APES Movie Has Been Revealed

According to Collider, the third Planet Of The Apes prequel movie will be called War Of The Planet Of The Apes. Again, when you consider what the previous films have been building towards, most fans probably assumed it'd be something along those lines. Director Matt Reeves originally shot a different ending to Dawn which saw the human forces arrive on the scene via warships, but decided he'd rather leave things a bit more ambiguous. Still, it'd be surprising if the next movie didn't kick off in the aftermath of some type of initial skirmish.

This is turning into one of the great franchises of our time. Loved the first two.

and it`s by Fox.

They got this reboot right!

FOX has already announced plans for the fourth movie where it merges with another company franchise...

"Taken by the Planet of the Apes"

This time, a time traveling Bryan Mills must go into the future ("I am a man of many skills") to save his daughter when she is grabbed by the time-slidin' simians intent on adding her to a futuristic human museum of lobatomized subjects. Liam "I cannot stop making these kinds of movies" Neeson stars.

Me too. That classic scene at the end with Heston Id love to see again.

Wish I could get my kids to watch them with me.

Never cared for the sequels that much, the second and third follow-ups being the best, but I love watching my disc deluxe edition of the 1968 one. It's full of interesting extras like an early make-up test with Linda Harrison made up as an ape during the doll scene revelation.
