How often do I hear those words going together...

Everett was good from day one that he started working in comics.

A nifty early Everett cover. Does the look of the artwork inside the near cockpit look grey tone to you, Ryan?

Guess the pedigree, win a no-prize.

I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW MUCH SEEING THIS SCAN MAKES ME WANT THIS BOOK... Christo_pull_hair.gif

That is in incredible book CM!!! Did you mention somewhere it was a recent purchase? Absolutely stunning. That could be THE best Everett Sci-Fi cover from that era! What beautiful line work.

Greytone? I don't think so... looks like black ink without any other color passes over it. True greytone would have a visible "texture" to it, like the AMF 2/5 cover, with the fine mechanical lines or cross hatching. Of course, I wouldn't know for sure, never having OWNED these books... frown.gif

Would be curious to know more about this issue of AMF... what IS the pedigree?

I got it from Metro recently, with big thanks to Stephen for knowing what I was looking for and helping me find it. Those guys deserve more credit than I usually give them. wink.gif

It's the Cosmic Aeroplane copy (as correctly guessed above by RHG). Full of interior marks pointing out which panels were to be drawn.

The figure work and posing of the two spacemen in the foreground is spectacular. I just missed on the Church copy when it was on ebay a number of years back.
